I like to envy because without envy you will not be able to improve yourself. I respect my friends a lot and their abilities acts as a source of inspiration for me. Someone told: ' Wiseman learns from others mistakes' My modification: ' Wiseman learns quickly and from any mistake he sees ' My ambition in life: I hope not to hurt anyone, because thats the last thing i want to do in life, hopefully if I pass by someone whom I know he/she sees me and remembers a good impression about me always.

WORLD CUP 2010: REALLY A SUCCESS????

WORLD CUP 2010: REALLY A SUCCESS????
I am a big soccer fan and being part of the MAN U fan club , I was eagerly expecting 2010 World cup to be a huge success, for England especially. The glitters of the opening ceremony, the mesmerizing Shakira, the splendid Africa and the glittering closing ceremony backed by super hosting by the Africans was really good but........
Was it a real success?
My impression is NOOOOOO

Reasons:
1.The football and the goals: The avg goals per match was 2.27 which is one of the least ever and lowest since 1990 world cup. Can we say The Jabulani was responsible, may be , may not be !!! Just imagine if Portugal had not scored 7 in 1 match then what would have been the average ??

2. 150 to 2???? :-O :-P------- Ronaldo+MESSI+ROONEY+DROGBA= 150 plus goals in club football last season, world cup--2????!!!!!!!!!!! Reason: Research going on :P
People might say that they are too much interested in money and all and dont really think about country. But that is not the case most of the times. Rooney plays as a lone striker in Manchester United and when Ronaldo was a part of the system , he didnot get a look in. Now capello expects rooney to fit into the system but its not easy for a player to change suddenly. He didnot get the piece of the ball this time, and never will under this system. People must also understand that Ivory Coast is not Chelsea Football clillub where Anelka is the strike partner of Drogba and Lampard behind. Also the injury before world cup to both Rooney and Drogba didnot help either. Ronaldo and Messi are really the failures and you can not give any excuse for them especially Messi, Argentina still has a very good team and I expected Messi to shine a lot, he frankly disappointed.
Ronaldo again disappointed too but sometimes you expect little to much from him. People this time overhyped buth of them.

3. The technology: Mr Blatter thinks that the introduction of goal-line technology might disrupt the spirit of game. But I want to ask him one question--- If suppose an england supporter would have suicided on loosing that crunch match, because of the rejection of the goal then who would have been responsible???
Today where things in our lives have become so complex and competitive that small mistakes affect us greatly then why should we take chances????? A simple use of technology might have changed the dynamics of this years world cup and the biggest irony is FIFA still is thinking on this.
wake up ICC also, Cricket World cup is in subcontinent next year......

4. The Special ones teams: People are thinking Spain is the best team in the world and unbeatable.
My answer is NO
Reason for Spains success, BARCELONA : If 7 first team players play together in a club that is winning one of the best leagues in the world then they will be formidable.
Where Spain won is where England lost. The 4 midfielders in English team plays for:
Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and Strikers: MAN U and some one who didnot get a first team chance at ASTON VILLA regularly.
Defense: Liverpool(RB), Tottenham(CB)/Liverpool(CB),Chelsea (CB), Chelsea(LB) who was texting some 'HOT' stuffs before the match to his gf. And goalie: 2 goal keepers used but the best one was reserved at England at queens palace.
Sooooo I felt pissed of at ENGLAND, an overrated bunch of players and again they have started bargaining for salaries.

5. Uruguay and Ghana The surprise package!!!!: People might feel that Ghana and Uruguay have over-achieved but I personally feel they are one of the few teams who played to their potential. When a team has 2 strikers who are one of the leading goal scorers in Dutch League and Spanish League, you are bound to score goals , and when you do score some, chances are that more often than not you will win. Uruguay was a team who played very good football, just felt that if their defense had not let them down then they would have gone more. Where Uruguay had the new 'HAND OF GOD' , Ghana did not have one and they lost, which was heartbreaking for africans.

6 Disappointing ITALY and France: They will shine again, if Juventus stands up again like Barcelona have then they will do well in 2014 because they have the unity and a young team will certainly help them so is the same case for France.

I just hope to see more godly stuff than the 'hand of god' and some more goals next time in Brazil,2014, especially from Brazil themselves.

Lastly regarding Indians and Indians participating in Football World cup, I just hope people stop buying some Brazil/Argentina flags for world cup and buy some Indian flag for atleast 15th August if not for Indian cricket team.
Feels very bad to see people supporting other nations and talking about them rather knowing atleast some player names in Indian football. People should ask this question to yourself-- Do you know the national club of INDIA or rather which team won this years NFL. Time to think on this, isn't it???
